You should read these Terms and Conditions before placing any purchase orders with us.
These Terms and Conditions will be applied to all purchases.
An exclusion or variation of these Terms and Conditions will not be effective unless agreed in writing in advance by us.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We shall be under no liability for any loss, damage, delay or expenses caused wholly or in part by natural disaster, outbreak of war, civil commotion, governmental policies or restrictions or control, including restrictions of export or import or other licenses, trade or industrial disputes of whatever nature, whether or not such dispute involves us, our employees or agents, or by any other event whatsoever which is beyond our control, and in any such circumstance, we may omit goods from, or cancel, your order, or postpone delivery of the goods ordered.
To ensure that you purchase enough flooring to cover the required area, we recommend adding 10% allowance on to your order for cutting and an additional 5% for grading. You may require more or less than this depending on the dimensions of the room.
The price stated on the product pages excludes VAT (unless otherwise stated). VAT will be charged at the current rate applying at the time of delivery.
The price quoted does not include delivery or picking charges (unless otherwise stated).
At any time before delivery we may adjust the price to reflect any increase in our costs of supplying the goods.
Any error or clerical omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without liability on our part.
Placing your Order
You can pay on our Website by debit or credit card through stripe. Payment will be debited at the point of order. If for any reason, your order is not accepted or we are unable to fulfil your order you will be issued with a full refund.
You can place an order through your shopping cart. You can check your order, payment and shipping details are correct and amend any errors until you confirm and submit your order on the check out. Please ensure that all details and orders are correct before proceeding as once you have submitted your order the payment will be taken.
Your order is an offer to purchase the specified products from us. You will receive an order acknowledgment via email with your product details and order number but please note that this is an acknowledgement and not an acceptance or guarantee of your order. If, for stock or delivery reasons or other issues we are unable to fulfil your order you will be informed as soon as possible. Once we have checked our stock availability, if we are able to proceed with the order you will be notified when this has been dispatched.
We will make every effort to keep our website up to date and to ensure that all items available on the website are in stock, however we cannot guarantee this and in the event that an item goes out of stock or becomes unavailable and is no longer available to purchase we will not be responsible.
Changes to your Order
If you wish to change you order after it has been placed, please contact us by phone or by email and we will look into this and let you know whether this will be possible and any changes to timescales or pricing. If so we will then discuss how to proceed.
We aim to ship most products from our premises in 2-10 working days depending on product availability, but this is an estimate and although we will try our best to meet this timescale, we will not be responsible if we are unable to do so. We will inform you know if we will be unable to deliver your products within 30 days of payment and will give you the option to either wait for the order, or to cancel your order for a refund.
All orders are processed and shipped in the order that they are received. Delivery times may increase around holidays and peak seasons. The delivery service may vary among carrier companies. If you have alternative delivery requirements, please contact us before we dispatch your order. Please include a phone number in case the carrier needs to notify you of any information related to your delivery or query delivery location. If you need your order to be shipped to an alternative address to the billing address, please provide this at the payment stage of the checkout process. Although we will make every effort to update delivery addresses after the order has been placed, we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries if the address provided is incorrect.
Pricing on each delivery service may vary due to the size and nature of your order, as well as the area that the products need to be delivered to and the care required for your delivery. Shipping charges will be added as required in the checkout prior to completing your order.
Prior to Installation/Use
Please ensure that you inspect the product that you receive prior to installation/use and that the goods are acceptable as per your order and that you are happy with the products. Once you have begun to install your flooring or use your product, we will not accept claims for faulty goods. When the flooring is installed it is the responsibility of the person installing it to remove faulty or damaged boards before the fitting process – we cannot accept claims for damaged boards after installation. Visibly defective or damaged boards should not be used as part of the installation. These boards are to be allowed for in the 15% waste tolerance. Colour and grade de-selection is not allowed for, as this is a down to personal taste and not a supplier or manufacturer fault.
Damaged Faulty Goods
Any damaged goods MUST be signed as damaged on the delivery note. Also we require photographed evidence at the time of delivery as we have a claims policy through our courier.
Please be aware that although we endeavour to provide photographs that depict our products as accurately as possible, but some device screens or web browsers can display colours differently. Colour variation is also to be expected as wood is a natural product with many natural features – this can be due to age, species, conditions and exposure to light along with sap content and natural changes. Due to this there may be differences between your flooring and the photographs on our website.
